Confusing Car Park Signs, Tenterden

On the main road in Tenterden are two signs saying: 'Car Park: 2.1m'. Very confusing, since 'm' on a British signpost usually means 'miles'. When one gets to the (Ashford Borough Council) car park, it says: 'Maximum height 2.4m'. The signs have been suitably covered over and a letter sent to the Borough Council asking them to put the _correct_ Imperial height on both car parks
