Who built the pyramids? God? Men led by God? I don't think so. At the time the book of Isaiah was written, the "Great Pyramid" was already quite old. Did its builders "make a vow to the Lord and perform it" (vs. 21)? Again, I don't think so. Vs. 19-20 are speaking of a future monument to be built in Egypt at a time when God "will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them." Obviously this hasn't happened yet. It is a yet future event. It has absolutely nothing to do with any ancient pyramids, which were built by a Godless people - a people who remain Godless to this day.
You have fallen for a numbers racket, no different than the modern "Bible Code". Many have been taken in by it. They too think it is "unassailable" and nobody can convince them otherwise.
The Bible definition of truth is found in John 17:17 - "Your word is truth." Look for the word of truth in the Bible, not from any ancient pagan monuments. To do otherwise is to invite strong delusion. Anyone who speaks a word of "truth" that is NOT from the word of God has no light in them (Isaiah 8:20).
I would suggest reading 2 Thessalonians 2 VERY carefully. They also were troubled by deceivers who tried to convince them that "the day of Christ had come."
Sorry to disappoint you, but Christ has NOT come yet. Not in secret, or in any other way. When He DOES come, it will be a very public event, witnessed by all. You have fallen for the same fallacy that was troubling those in Thessalonica in Paul's day. No doubt those deceivers also had their "unassailable" proofs as well.
I've already posed a number of questions which should clue you in that Christ isn't here yet. You haven't attempted to answer any of them. Your answer has always been to look at bible codes and pyramid measurements. What does that tell you? I know what it tells me:
Isaiah 8:19-20 - And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
You seem a decent person Regan Balman. It grieves me to see you mixed up in such nonsense. |
