Response to That's moral cowardice and calls for a reply

I didn't want to seem as though I were squelching debate. The record shows that I am ALWAYS publicly willing to go with anyone TWO miles - that is, to sit with them and to read and examine ALL their articles of faith or evidences thereto, and to give it a FAIR HEARING and then to publicly acknowledge the truthfullness of any claims that match the Scriptures themselves, and even to alter my own views if need be, based soley on what the Bible itself says. I will even go so far as to talk with you on the phone, or meet you at your home or mine. Any time, any place.

My opponents meanwhile, usually cannot even come up with the courage to admit what their own name is. Still I will go two miles with them, anonymously if they so choose.... Matthew 5:41

That being said, my one simple question for any "Christian" person who is reasonable that can answer me is:

If "dates" etc. are outside the parameters of proper Bible study, then what do you do with all those numbers in the book of Daniel?

A. Study them

B. Dispose of them.

C. Back away as though they were the devil's work.

Sadly most of you choose C.

Come on! I'm willing to discuss this in any style as well, but YOU VISITED this battle board boldly making fakse pronouncements about a man you admit to never having read! So I think it's good if you end up going away mad, because then you know you've been defeated. You defeated yourself, by not being interested enough to learn anything, but just prideful enough to go around AS IF you have learned it all. In a word, you are not "meek" - which doesn't mean to sit in a quiet corner - it means "teachableness".

Jesus said the very stones would cry out if his followers should keep silent. Well God could make the stones fall on the heads of his alledged followers in an attempt to get their attention and they'd be too busy to notice.

So while some of my colleagues among Bible Students may disagree, I think it's a good thing to have a lively debate where facts and rhetoric and logic take to the fore, and may the loser lose! As my radio colleague Rush Limbaugh said yesterday in the spirit of Kelly's Heroes War Board - (substitute "Pastor Russell's unjust critics" where applicable...)

They fail when they try to change the minds and hearts of the American people. So what I want to teach the left is defeat. I want them to taste it. I want them to choke on it. I want them to throw up defeat. I want them to get so stuffed on defeat that they need Pepto-Bismol to deal with it -- and then I want them in the bathroom 24/7 getting rid of defeat. I want them tasting it so much that they don't want any more part of it ever again. I want to just flood the zone with defeat. That's what I want to teach them. I couldn't care less how they dissent. David in Oklahoma City, welcome to the program. Nice to have you with us.

This is a new time and day. The time for religious error is over. It is the cause of every human woe, suffering and war. It is time that Bible Science catch up with the other sciences, and only the Bible Student movement is on the cutting edge of that reality, thanks solely to the pioneering efforts of Pastor Charles Taze Russell.

WAKE UP! THIS is the Millennial Dawn! http://www.reganbalman.com/Lyrics.html#Bind_Them

Yours in Truth,

Regan
