Oh when will they ever learn

You shouldn't make blanket statements about things you know nothing about. The silence does not mean what you seem to think it does. For everything there is a season. There is a time for war and a time for peace. Battles should be chosen carefully. It's not just a matter of counting the cost - one must also consider the fruits, whether they are likely to be good or bad.

No doubt there are any number of debates we could have. The secret vs. public return of Christ is but one of many. Do either of us have the time or the patience for it? What would be the fruits of such debate? Would you convince me? Would I convince you? Would either of us learn anything? Would any good result? I think not. The track of this "battle" so far does not bode well for its accomplishing anything of value.

Indeed the war is not only over, it never really was anything more than a skirmish. The women and children were never in any danger.
