charity christmas cards

I get charity christmas card brochures from about about 20 charities and there has been a trend for them to give measurements in metric only.As a result I write and suggest they will lose customers and should give imperial as well as metric.My first success is Alzheimers Society which after 2 years of metric only is now giving both measurements.

Charity catalogues have also adopted metric-only, although there's been some reversal of this.

I think its more than that. I think its due to this effect:

Changed to metric - got letters of disapproval - changed back
