i may have to vote with my feet (back to safeway) next time I need a pinta.
Actually Tesco is still fully imperial and metric so its difficult to leave them just for a pinta.
Plus the fact that tesco are less than a mile away!

Some facts:
-Cravendale milk is sold in 2L bottles
-My local Spar sells 1 pint, 1L and 2L bottles
-At Morrisons I have noticed that any none Morrisons own brand milk (Yorkshire Milk, Jersey Milk and Alpro Soya Milk) is sold in litres.
Just some interesting facts there.

In my local happy shopper, they sell 1pt, 1ltr, 2ltr bottles of milk. In my local supermarket (somerfields), they sell 1pt, 2pt, 4pt, 6pt bottles of milk. Think they may also do 1/2ltrs, but not sure (never really paid attention).

I noticed the other day in the 'fridge at work that Sainsbury's hippy milk instead of being in square liters was now in normal milk containers and also in godly quarts
I bet the price isn't the same!!!

Bud,
I meant that the container was square/cyclindrical not a square of a cubic measurement (welcome to the fifth dimension!).
