can you enter a start and finish time and quickbooks figures how many hours a person worked????

add the quantity column to what?
you can go to employees>time tracking, and do the weekly timesheet, or the single timesheet.
in order to use the time on payroll, you will have to go to the employee profile, and checkmark to use time data to create paychecks.
