My wife is setting up a business as a demonstrator for a rubber stamp company. I want to setup QuickBooks for her accounting. What type of business would I set it up as. I thought it should be retail sales. Any other opinions.

Thanks for your input
Terry

Does she sell rubber stamps or just get paid for her services demonstating them? If she sells them then pick a retail company setup. If she gets paid for her services then select a service type company. If she does both them select Retail and add the services income account.

If your wife will be selling the rubber stamps it would be "Retail", if she is demostrating only, and billing for services, it would be Service.
