I have upgraded to the Nonprofit version of QB, but cannot find the special nonprofit reports. The online help says they can be accessed from the Nonprofit Navigator under Memorized Reports. All I find there is what I had in my previous version of QB. I know these must be right under my nose; however, I have spent several hours looking for them. Help!
These are under reports/memorized reports/nonprofit (near the bottom of the drop down menu screen). They are also on the lower right corner of the nonprofit navigator screen.
Perhaps you experienced the same thing that we did. The staff using the QB system thought that the NonProfit version was applied last year. We had to reinstall the NonProfit version. I came on board a couple weeks ago and discovered that they were still operating on QB 2000. The desktop icon read NonProfit but actually started the old version of the programs. Also, the splash screen that appears when the program first started displayed QB2000. After the reinstall the splash screen displayed QB2002 Non Profit.
If you don't have the NonProfit Navigator screen, then maybe you need to reinstall your programs.
In my case, the report template did not load - some sort of conflict with my data file. However, with the Cust. Svc rep learning as we went, we found that by opening the Report menu and selecting Memorized Report List. Then click on the Activities tab at the bottom and select Import. This produces a list of unloaded templates, and the Nonprofit set was included. It loaded quickly and appeared where it should have in the Navigator window after restarting QB. All's well that ends well, but although this process is described in Help, there was nothing to indicate that there were other templates that could be loaded. These files have a .QBR extension, and may be found on the CD or in Program Files/Intuit/Quickbooks...
