I am a familiar user of Quickbooks Pro. However, I have never had to set up a non-profit org. in QB. Does anyone have any suggestions. We have multiple funds and programs.
I would suggest you get a good book and read it. If you go to google.com and type into their search box: Quickbooks for non-profits it will show you several options. The Sleeter book is probably good as they are a good outfit. But I haven't read it.
I just recently set up a non-profit on Quickbooks and found the book by Kathy Ivens titled "Running Quickbooks 2004 for Nonprofits" about the best you can find. You can find it at Border's book stores, at Fry's Electronics. The cost is $35. Good luck!
Your major issue, of course, is how are you going to use QBPro to do Fund Acctg
