Which Quickbooks Premier edition would be best suited for the transporation industry? Just wondering if the generic is the best suited, or if there is a better solution...
It all depends what part of the transportation industry you are referring to. I have 20+ years of truck driving, an AA in accounting, and certification with QuickBooks.
I am working with a client who has a company that owns some trucks and brokers others. Was wondering if there was anything special for this type of business in Quickbooks - or if I should just go with the general category and take it from there.
Just got back into the trucking industry, and was wondering how to set up chart of accounts, and how to set up trip advances, paying cash ie; fuel, tolls, etc.
Should I set up petty cash register, and journal each receipt? Please advice...Deeply appreciate it....
