That's a good choice. Normally a hotel is a service type business as opposed to selling or retail. It's not carved in stone though. If you decide you need other accounts in the Chart of Accounts, you can always add them. The same is true for other options, you can always go to Preferences and turn on other options as you need them. Choosing the type when you begin only gives the setup wizard an idea of what General Ledger accounts to set up for your business and what options to turn on to begin with. You can always change later.
