I do the books for an Insurance agency that uses an OLD dos based program that is driving me nuts.
Does anybody think that i could use quickbooks in this office?
Anybody using it now?
Thanks

Depends on how you're planning on using it.. Strictly financials for company or to bill the clients for premiums, etc.?

Yea, I was kind of thinking of having it do everything. Invoice my customers, track the commissions. We have both Agency Billing where we bill our customer-get paid-pay the insurance company less our commission. And Direct Billing where the insurance company bills the customer-the customer pays the insurance company-then the insurance company sends us a commission.
I noticed that there were versions of Quickbooks set up for different industries, and did not see this one. Just wondered if anyone had any luck.
