I want to buy a copy of the contstruction version of quick books. Does anyone know if it is compatible with regular version. My accountant says he does not think he will be able to work with it.

why not give your accountant a copy of it?

He can open your file. Give it a try and see what happens.

If he has the Premier or the Premier Accountant's version, he can open any "flavor" of the same version such as QB2003, QB2004, etc. The QB2005 version is due out in mid to late December. He must be on the same version as you are. The Contractors Edition is one of the Premier series editions.
