We are looking at the Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition of QB, and I've had the following issues put to me by my staff. We are currently QB Pro 2004 users and have the following challenges and issues. We need:
1) Ability to track multiple PO's per customer;
2) Improved backorder tracking and reporting for customers;
3) Shipper friendly;
4) Ability to track shipments and pending shipments by amounts and items;
5) Reasonably efficient tracking for in-out finished goods inventory system that can be expanded at some point to include bar-coding for ins and outs - we import product from the Far East, stage and fullfill orders from domestic warehousing facility.
6) Ability to track commission and royalty payments (both percentages of sales of selected items); and
7) Multiple price level capabilities.
I've researched it and feel like Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition will do the job with some minor customization on our end, but would certainly appreciate input from anyone that can help me true-up what I need with software capabilities. All comments are welcome!
