A friend helped my mother get her Quckbooks files from a bad harddrive. She has them on a disk, but doesn't know which folder to put them in so she can have access to them again. Apparently he saved them so they have to be placed inside the folder that the rest of the quickbook files are saved to. Does anyone know what that folder is called?
I know the name Original folder is caleed Quickbooks, but there's a folder inside of that where all accounts are stored. I need to place the files from the disk in this particular folder, but I don't know what it's named. Please Help!!
It does not matter where the files are on the computer as long as you tell QUickBooks where they arte. Just open QuickBooks and choose file/open company. Then browse to whereever your file is and double click on it.
