I'm trying to assist a friend that runs Quickbooks and have stumbled across something I don't know how to fix.
They deleted accounts that should have just been made inactive. These accounts were used in budgets for past years. The problem is that the "deleted" accounts are still showing up in this years budget even though they weren't put in the budget ... it's like they are being carried over from the prior year. I've tried to go in and change it to no avail. I've tried to recreate the account but it says that the account already exists. When I go to look at the account it doesn't show the deleted accounts. Any suggestions?
