I need to know how to post this type of sales.

I send an invoice to the customer, he pays via credit card. The merchant account charges 3.5% for processing this card. Say I charged $500 .. the customer pays $100 and the merchant charges me $3.50 .. When I go post the payment received, how do I post the $3.50? The customer does not pay that amount I do ..
