FALLON

Response to Msg to Fallon and Joe

We need to move out of the Stadium as soon as possible for the rather simple fact that the rent is crippling us. It was £25,000 when we moved to the Stadium in August 2001 and it is now £60,000. We have spoken to Witton who will have us there, subject to terms and conditions being ironed out.

Now what you have said regarding Pavilions is spot on and we do not differ from that at all. We need to work with them to do that ground up to standard and for Runcorn to move there either next season or the season after. The Conference will not mind us playing at Witton for a season if we are seen to be doing Pavilions up and we communicate with them every step of the way.

Moving back to Runcorn is has to be the end product. What is the point of moving to Witton, or indeed anywhere else, otherwise? We simply become another Milton Keynes Dons dont we? I for one would not watch us if we moved elsewhere with no prospects of coming back.

Now what the situation is regarding Pavilions is we do not know. We will be holding an exploratory meeting with them later this week / early next week to hopefully find out answers to a lot of question. R.Smith raised a lot of good and valid questions in another post.

What you fail to grasp though is this money that we raise. Any money is currently in the LIST Bank Account and will stay there for now. Anything we do put the football clubs way will be by way of purchasing shares so that the Supporters Trust (and by virtue supporters in general) can built up a shareholding within the club. We have already been offered over 200 shares as a donation by an ex-director.

I appreciate your point with regards to only a Dr Robertson free Runcorn FC ever working. You are not alone in this view and several individuals and indeed companies have told us they would be happy to give LIST money as when Dr Robertson goes. But for now he is here and in charge, so for the fans to have any say we have to work with him.

I do not think that our views are too far apart on this Ste, and I for one would be delighted if you got involved with LIST more and join us on the Acting Board.
