Response to many thanx

Dont give up on the memories, as with the support of past fans, new fans and the people of Runcorn, those memories could soon come back with a new club in the town.

The Doc ruined a very good club, didnt listen to the fans before Canal Street was sold and is now counting the cost. (Apparently his house is up for sale).
He had the opportunity to work with the fans and hand over the clubs name and the club, but he wanted his debts paid (His debts, as all money borrowed in his name, however some people might have come chasing the Football Club). He beleived someone would come in and bail him out with £500,000 for the club, he was living in cloud cuckoo land.
Now the fans have a clean slate, no debts and the opportunity to develop a club both on and off the field. the vibes form Steve Carragher are very good, he has some quality players on board and the on-filed future looks good for the season.
Its now up to supporters, local business and the local community to build the club off the field and get it back in Runcorn ASAP.
I myself gave up attending the games when they left Runcorn, I miss the Linnets club, the Sunday League side we had from there etc. However, i see this as the best thing thats happened to the club in the last 12 years.
