The club shouldnt be helping AFC Liverpool gain status

If the club had any sense about them, they wouldnt be offering help to AFC Liverpool.
Do they not realise that this new club would have a much bigger pull factor than Runcorn Linnets.
They would be competing for players and sponsorship.
Taking the local newspaper coverage even further away from Runcorn FC.
Then on the pitch, they would offer a lot more strength due to their financial position and this could cost the club promotion and cups etc.

We already suffer enough from local Prem and Football League clubs, without trying to increase the competition further.
We even have a local branch of FC United based in Runcorn, who travel to all their games.

I often wonder if members of our board actually give any thought to their actions.
