Response to The idiot

Hey dick head ( sorry, I mean Dave ), FC United approached us about playing for the trophy in memory of one of their supporters who tragically lost his life while away supporting his team. The idea was to raise funds, awareness, and to begin what will hopefully be an anual event between ourselves and FC United or a competition with other local supporters teams.

As for it not counting as winning a trophy just because it was a one off game, have you never heard of the community shield?

You suggested that we have achieved nothing this season, at our first training session four of us turned up. We had no team, no pitch, no league to join, no kit, no balls and no money.

Thanks to Daz, Shaun and all the committed lads in the team we now have a home ground, 3 brand new kits, 10 mitre training balls, 2 £40 match balls, 24 keen players and more wanting to sign, a pub to go to after games to feed the away team, 2 sponsors, a good presentation evening with the 1st team in which 4 lads were given trophys, a mid table finish and we are the only team in the league to beat both Everton and Liverpool, all in our first season.

Yeh, your right, we have achieved fuck all.

I would seriously love to meet you face to face Dave, why dont you come the supporters friendly v Man U supporters at Pavillions tom, I will be there and I would just love a one on one chat, or perhaps you can share with all the lads how delueded and unsuccessful we are.
