How is it a missed opportunity? Would we have started getting an extra 200-300 people a week with Mckenna in charge?

Spike was a much bigger Runcorn legend than Ken Mckenna ( probably in the top 3 all time Runcorn legends ), did we suddenly get a huge increase in profile and attendances when Spike took over as manager?

No we didnt, nor would we have if Mckenna took over.

Also, we could never afford his wages and expected playing budget at this time in our clubs existence.

Ive heard Sven Goran Ericcsson will be leaving Man City soon, it would be a missed opportunity if we didnt get him in charge.
