Response to Just to be clear - Linnets Legends

I'm starting to wish we had gone with the name AFC Runcorn to confirm we are a continuation.

Ando you are right to compare Linnets current league position to the glory days of the old club and feel it is'nt the same. However the new club gives us hope of getting back to those days rather than having no club at all.

We should not be compared to AFC Wimbledon, set up when the existing club moved, or FC United set up by rebel supporters. However Ando we are exactly like AFC Telford , Chester and FC Halifax. If you went on there forums and said they are not a continuation of the old clubs you would be knocked over in the rush of replies. You will probably have visited the the three clubs mentioned so please tell me do you think they are continuation clubs and if yes why do you consider Linnets to be different?
