Response to Re: Just to be clear - Linnets Legends

Never bought any flags of Tufty ever??? Bit random that one. The reason was not just cos Spike got sacked as I said it was also the way it was done, the club financially was on its arse, Spike was sacked (not sure what contract he was on but he would have got some kind of pay out) and to secure Liam Watsons services we had to pay Acrrington Stanley a hell of a lot, and on top of that we had to pay Liam an over inflated wage (in my opinion)and he wouldnt have come unless he was promised an big playing budget. From a financial point of veiw evrything that should not have been done was been done. Anyway dont take it off topic just cos your arguement is on the ropes...
Glad you have read the website, did you read the bit where it says the FA gave us special dispensation to acknowledge that we ARE a continuation, either you chose to ignore that detail or your just to simple to have it sink in? The club couldnt continue playing at the level where it was at, as we had no facillitiys whatsoever, if I recall correctly we set the whole club up in weeks and in that time had to secure playing facillitys etc, at one point during the meetings it was discussed what would happen if the NWCL wouldnt accept our application, and in all likelyhood we would have been playing west cheshire league! Without that dispensation from the FA I dont believe we would have been granted entry into the NWCL.
Back to you!
