Response to Re: NWCFL could be decided by an extra game

The league have cocked up on this big time. What the league are saying is - if Ramsbottom dont win on Saturday then they replay the Bootle game. Yet if Ramsbottom win on Saturday and Town win on Saturday, then Ramsbottom win the league by a point. The point they will win it by, is the point that they wont recognise if Ramsbottom lose on Saturday. So the league have to replay the game given those circumstances. They either have to decide now that the point stands no matter what the result on Saturday or have to decide that a replay will take place no matter what the result is on Saturday.

You can almost guarantee that Ramsbottom will win the league by one point.
Yet if they replayed the Bootle game and lost that game, then they would actually lose the league on goal difference.
