Response to Re: NWCFL could be decided by an extra game

Either the result of the Bootle game stands or it gets replayed.
That is the only decision that needs to be made.
It needs to be made before tomorrow.

The league either accept the point which Ramsbottom got at Bootle or they dont accept that point.
They cant decide to only accept the point if Ramsbottom win. (If Ramsbottom win the league by one pint, it could be an illegal point and Runcorn Town would have a good right to a legal case against both the league and The FA).

If they accept the point, then Bootle should be decucted that point as is the previous precedent set.
Why are they giving Bootle the chance to gain from this error?
Bootle could now come out of this 2 points better off, with an extra games gate money in the bank as well.

If the NWCFL fail to make a decison before tomorrows game, it could result in a lower crowd at Runcorn Town and a loss of income.

If this game was played at the start of the season, then the outcome would have been that Bootle lose their point and Ramsbottom keep their point. You cannot change the rules based on the timing of the game. Its no wonder that people cal the FA corrupt when they come out with scenarios such as this. the NWCFL also have to look at their past precedent, including a game in league one this season where the same offence occured, yet that game has not been replayed.
