  • Council budget this week - £1million on improving council pitches & another £1.5 million..

      ..on a running track.

      The running track is proposed for a site at St Peter & Paul & Wade Deacon high schools in Widnes.

      The pitch money is for all 60 odd pitches the council runs.

      Looks like the boat has been missed for money this year ?

      See council agenda for this wednesday, following a meeting of the council's executive board (cabinet) on Feb 20th. You can phone the council's committee section and ask if you don't believe me.

      They are also putting up half a million to replace the pavillions on the Heath.

      That's £3 million on public sports facilities.

      Trust the board to miss out !
