Runcorn Home and Away Posted Jul 24, 2009 9:02 AM
With regards to the ground, it would be nice to get the smallest of updates even if it means someone has cut the grass!
The board obviously know things are going on, yet they only come out and reveal once another supporter has passed comment. Its like they get a special buzz off holding back information.
I have to agree, Steve is not the right man for the job, he lacks any form of charisma.
Publicity needs to start now for next season, not a case of building the ground then starting the PR, its to late by then. Build momentum now and build anticipation.
The site at Halton Sports should be covered in Sponsorship boards by now or a big board by the roundabout stating "Runcorns Coming Home", along with the totaliser etc. Let people see whats happening and get people talking.
Thousands of people a day must pass the edge of the site on that roundabout.
Visit the site now and there is nothing to say that Runcorn FC will be building a ground there. All people see is a derelict building on the side of the pub. How many users of the site know whats happening on there? |
