The Doc has done a runner

Insider

From what we are lead to beleive, the Chairman has done a runner (To an overseas holiday home).
He has been unavailable all week and has not informed any of the officials (Conf North, Stadium, Club Secretary) of where the club is to go from here and where they will play saturdays game.
Come Saturdy we will be homeless, with the league asking us questions about un-played fixtures.

Its all very worrying.

Is there a club secretary ? This will make it worse if there isn't....

.. The council will howl with laughter at this one if it's true.

That means they won't even have to offer the use of the stadium for next saturday now.

That means the league will appll its rules now.

What are the "rules" they will apply ?

To me there are 2 issues. The longer term one, which i understand re 10 year leases etc.

But what happens if we don't play this Saturday ? Do we get points deducted ? Do we just forfeit that the Gainsborough points ? Can they take more action ?

I can't believe we truly have NOONE who is in a position to tell us something. Anything.

As it stands

The club does not have any long term lease on the stadium.
The council are prepared to let them play out the season, on a pay as you play deal.
They will not let them use the stadium next season.

Times ticking, as it stands there will be no game on Sat.

Insider, can you back this up with a good source, because from my memory not one of your rumors have ever been right.
