after hearing only 73 went to the last sad home game I wrote this
Walk away Doc Robinson before its to late.
Do this for the fans of Runcorn F C.
Let the Linnets' live without your shadow
stopping them from growing again.
Or are you going to wait to squeeze the last
Drop of blood from a dying club.
Do you really want to hear the death rattle
and sad footsteps of loyal fans walking away?
Walk away Doc Robinson and close the gate
please for our sake don't leave it to late.
The river end fans won't ever forgive you, if you don't leave now!
And the ghost of Gentle man Jack search will haunt you always.
All the best Chris

| crowd of 73 | November 24 2005, 3:33 PM |
Unfortunatly it has transpired that some fool had notified the local radio stations informing them that the game had been called off, due to a frozen pitch. Although we dont get the greatest crowds, this obviously impacted enormously.. |
