Absolutely shocking news - This is out of order
Michael Morrison – the striker who was briefly released from prison on Saturday to make his debut for Linnets.

The 23-year-old was jailed for three years in April last year for violent disorder, assault and grievous bodily harm but is due for release in mid-May due to good behaviour.
What on earth are we doing? Basically saying its OK to commit serious criminal offences. Imagine if that had been a relative of one of our Board who had been subject to the Violent disorder and assault, would they give him a game then?
Jailed for 3 years and hasnt even served one year yet. Nothing like rewarding crime by giving them a place in a football team.

I suggest we organise some form of protest at the next game, asking people to refrain from entering the ground as its seen as supporting criminals. I will be writing to all local and national papers about this, asking for victims fo crime to support this protest

Its a good job the name Law is only yours in name and that we dont rely on your moral wisdom to sentance this countries criminals.

Christ, I've blamed the board for some things but the judicial system of the country. I would suggest his release has more to do with prison overcrowding than anything else.

You are entitled to feel that the club is 'morally corrupt' for taking such a stance but to say that the club is condoning his actions is ludicrous.

There are worse crimes than giving somebody a good kicking. Christ three quarters of Runcorn are guilty of that. We just didn't get caught.

Dave G, I cant belive that 3 or 4 years on, you are still spreading poison on this piss pool of a website.

Tell me, do you know the ins and outs of the lads case?

No, thought not, just like you dont know the ins and outs of any of the stories that you try and pull to pieces.

I look forward to seeing your protest at the next game and reading the headline in the daily mirror when you write to the press.

Honestly, some people need their fingers breaking so they cant write any more shite.

The judge and jury

March 21 2008, 5:18 PM

Have found him guilty, thats the facts.
A crime that results in a 3 year sentance.
I bet it would be a different story Mr Bignall if it was a member of your family who was the victim.
Lets hope the next time the jury service letters go out, they dont get sent to halfwits such as Bignall and Law.

Perhaps we should sign up a few mass murderers to play in the next game, a Hanibal Lector type who will scare the oppoistion.

SO WE HAVE A CRIMINAL PLAYING FOOTBALL FOR RLFC. The law of the land says he is free and able to play football for us and we are doing nothing wrong. What I will say is everybody deserves a second chance and we are offering him this chance. I do not condone what he has done and if he is out on probatition he accepts what he has done is wrong. Are we going to say in 10 years time he is an ex criminal and we do not want him as a coach because there is no difference in that to him playing for us now. If the victim of this crime wants to contact the club I dont see why we can not speak to them on an equal footing. I say this as a person who has a conviction for violence.
