Budget CutJuly 2 2009 at 3:08 PM | Dave |
| I can't say i am surprised after fall in attendances for the past two seasons and players only signing to pick up there expenses cheques.
Good to see that players like Ste Cunny, Rob Whyte & Matt Rigby have re-signed, they are players that you want in your squad who play for the love of the game and give there all.

David Duttons expertise has assessed the lads in a 20 min kick about at training and all is looking good.
What David Dutton fails to ecognise, is that we wont be competing for league points in 20 min kick abouts, we will be up against other teams who have better players.
Cutting the budget clearly shows the lack of ambition on the pitch.
By the time we return to Runcorn, we will be in the same league as Runcorn Town. We struggled to compete in the league last season, have lost our better players and now are cutting the budget, doesnt spell out a great season ahead.
Lets see David Duttons assessment come May. |

What is evident is we will not be challenging for promotion to the Unibond.
