PR stunt for club

Why dont the club put in a bid for Michael Owen given nobody wants him.
Would get some great PR.
Handy for his golf at Frodsham Golf Club where he plays and for supposed house he is developing in Frodsham.

Looks like he is set for Man Utd.
Would be worth contacting him though to get him a s apatron or a similar role, he is Patron of Helsby Social Club and has helped them in a few ways.
Get more off him than you will off that Duke of Westminster tosser.
