As I stopped in at Cub Camp several days last week to see how you were doing, I saw Cubs having a great time due to your hard work. I contacted Den Leaders and Camp Leaders only to be flooded with how well ALL of you were doing.
I heard compliments ranging from:
"Our Den Chief saved my Den during the first day of Camp and has made it run smoothly ever since. I was assigned 20 Cub Scouts and was really flustered about how to make them work together! Our Den Chief calmly walked up to me and asked if he could get the boys started on their tasks. I told him to go for it if he knew how. Within 5 min. our Den Chief had our Den up and running and having a great time together!! What a great personality this Scout has."
"I want to meet this Scout's Parents and Scoutmasters because they have helped to make the best Scout I have ever seen. Our Den Chief is a fine young man and has taught my Cubs many good lessons. What a great leader. I have learned allot from him!!"
"Where did this Scout come from? I mostly follow him around as he shows my Cubs how much fun Scouting at Camp is. He must have gone through allot of special training classes in Boy Scouts."
Believe me... there were many more about each and every one of you. It doesn't get any better than this guys!!
114 is very proud of you for giving so much of your free time to teach younger Scouts and to ensure that their Day Camp was a fun time for all!!
Don't forget to enter this in your Scouting Log under Scouting Spirit!!
