Your Patrol is large and large is good because it shows that you are all helping our Troop GROW!! But... your SM would like you to do a very difficult task. I think our Troop could progress much faster if your patrol could divide and make two Patrols for our Troop.
A patrol is normally six Scouts and you are way above that. I know that you have all done a great job together for many years through Cub Scouting and now Boy Scouting. I also understand how hard it will be to divide such a great team of Scouts. Don't look at it as leaving your buddies as you are in the same Troop. Making two Patrols could be allot of fun competing in events, recruiting, etc.
I also want to make sure all of the Chipmunks know dividing your Patrol is quite an honor!! It shows our Troop and your Scoutmasters how hard you have worked recruiting new Scouts into our Troop and keeping your Patrol active. Wearing a Recruiters Patch showes great Scouting Spirit.
So... I hear there is another new Scout soon to join the Chipmunks? Before you grow any larger will all of you please work with your PL to see how you can make a new Patrol?
