      Hi there
      in reply to your message there is nothing wrong with your new machine. I have found a heap of gold with mine. and find it an extremely reliable machine.
      feel free to email me with any problems you may encounter. There is a mod for the sd2000 that gives it 4 channels I find that with this mod and using coiltek coils that the machine works as well as my sd2200 except the sd2000 has no auto ground balance or disc mode.
