I have had a GP for a few months now, (bought from Jack) I keep finding that some people are having large nuggets blanked out while the discriminator is turned on. Is this possible? If so, why would it happen?
Also, whats this new 12V battery system ive just heard about?

Hi Jacko, The discriminators on the SD/GP machines should not be relied upon. Better off digging all targets unless your in a very junky area. If you do want to use the discriminator make sure the level adjust control is turned back at least half way, if you leave it fully clockwise it is far more likely to blank out gold. The 12v system made by coiltek is only for the SD's, don't use it on the GP extreme!!
