Hi Guys, theres not to much happening on this forum, there must be people out there with good stories or questions to share with other people interested in this hobby.
I live in Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast, i own a GP Extreme and a Musketeer SX Pro. I go gold detecting any chance i get but when i can't get to the fields i run over my local beaches. To my surprise im not only picking up bits of jewelery and coins but also pre decimal coins aswell. My best find on a beach to date is a beautiful sapphire earing in old white gold.
I havn't found any gold with the GP as yet but ive have very limited time to spend on it this year :o(
So now lets hear of some of your stories and tell us about your best finds. Maybe Jack might open another area on his Website which people like you and me can post our stories, good and bad.

Hi JackO, Went out yesterday to the specking patch armed with coilteks latest offering, the new 17x10 mini UFO monoloop coil. Great coil, very sensitive and quiet, picked up 3 small pieces in just over an hours mucking around. Appears to have good depth as well for its size. Most people around town now have them so it looks like another winner from coiltek. Pete.
