When I try both settings on a small nugget near the surface, I get better results with the deep setting than with the shallow setting. Are these settings faulty? I have been told by a dealer that there is no way to check the deep and shallow settings, but I have a hard time believing that. My question to other GP Extreme owners is does your deep and shallow controls act the same as mine do?
