I'll be retiring soon & I want go detecting all over,Nth. Qld. WA. etc. But I have been told that an ordinary caravan wont handle the outback. That I must have an outback caravan.Can anybody outthere, been there done that. give me some advice.I was thinking of buying a 15 footer.

I have travelled with my caravan to Leonora, Laverton and a lot of other places, and as long as you know that the caravan will follow you on all roads, made or unmade you will be OK. Dont try to take your van where no roads are made, and if it is wet, you are limited again. With planning nothing beats a nice cosy caravan at night after a hard days of detecting. Good luck

Have a look at a Supreme caravan.
Model: Getaway
Made in Victoria.
This is an off road design.
I just purchased a 11' model.
There is an agency in Camden NSW.
Camden Caravans.
