Old timer folks.
Getting back into detecting after many years absence.
Stories? Got a few of those.
Worked in mining most of my adult life: underground mostly; in the west and elsewhere.
What has drawn me to this forum is the stories of Jack.
I just wish he would get his aging **** back into the sticks and WRITE something more about his experiences.
Never hit the big quid but I met some of the players: Charles Garrett, Maurie Brown, Ben prior, Pussy's grand-dad and a myriad of other characters and personalities. Many of whom are still alive.
Still have links to the 'Golden Mile' and live sometimes in Boulder.
Mates are everything! Aren't they?
