I have collected a number of images of the ocean floor from satelite and shiptrack data that are listed here. The authors have a nice click map, but keep the data sets separate. Rather than do that, I have listed the available data here by region, so that the various types of data from a give region are easy to get to.
The files labelled "big" are about 3000x2000 pixels, about 300K in jpeg format. The files labeled "small" are reductions to 800x600 and are smaller.
If you find other interesting data sets in the web, please let me know!
