PRESENATION PROCEDURES

If you are presenting, please get copies of all handouts to Scott McIntosh A.S.A.P., well before the institute. Please e-mail your finished, or nearly finished, Power Point Presentations to me as well, at scott_mcintosh@urmc.rochester.edu

If you don't have the presentation done by the time of the institute, please be prepared to give it to me immediately when you arrive, so we can LOAD it on our LAPTOP for your use at the Institute. If we get it ahead of time, we can ALSO have it on the website in advance.

PLEASE identify any handouts, required readings, articles, etc. which may be better presented as FILES on the website. This will save on paper, as long as the participants would not need the handouts in front of them during your presentation. All other handouts, which will be "hard copy", will be included in each participant's BINDER/FOLDER which we will assemble here in Rochester, NY PRIOR to the Institute.

NOTE: For PowerPoint Presenations:

1) Please do not include any data or information that you would NOT want disseminated to others

2) Please use NOTATION to annotate your slides (these need not be too elaborate), or be prepared to provide brief annotations to all slides while at the Institute. The goal is to allow people viewing your Presentation over the web the opportunity to read your comments, which will help EXPLAIN the slide presenation.

3) For examples of past presentations, please go to the 1999 portion of this website, and go to "PRESENTATIONS".

Thanks,
Scott
