Here's one trick

by Jack from Philadelphia

Hello Gabe and welcome to the forum. You'll get more helpful hints from the real gurus but here's one tip. First, on an obvious note, be sure you have a new, proper size battery. After you insert the battery try to kick start the movement by lightly pulling back on the balance wheel and releasing it. That often brings it roaring back to life. Unfortunately, the Timex electrics (sspecially the early models)seem to have suffered from quality control problems, and your watches might just be defective.
