...information Dorsey H. The color is somewhat of a bronze/copper off-white/cream ( difficult to describe it. In some lighting it looks off-white, in others it looks more bronze/copper ). I went through my other Timex's just to see if I could find another one with that color, and tonight ( it's almost 9.40PM over here ) I found a Timex 21 jewels from 1965 with more or less the same color. That one too looks original to me with no "faded" areas and that same tone to the dial.

Interesting that the radium can cause burns on the dial. I have also seen what you describe, but always thought it was rust/oil. Learn something every day... Thanks!
