Couldn't agree more....seems we need a smaller stadium for our dwindling gates not a larger one !! It was pathetic....and does this suggest our hardcore supporters only number some 200 ??? I sincerely hope not.
City fought hard and were up for a win last night, but once again we lack firepower and the INTELLIGENCE to use our midfield. Sorry to agree about tactics and a certain coaching qualification, but when we have control of the game as last night, the defence should pass to the midfield and build from there, as most top clubs do, that way we gtive more support to the strikers and play simple footie to open the opposition.
Roy worked hard but was never dangerous and threatening; Kevin was good but most of all Leon showed great threat and presence when he came on.
My game plan would be to replace Wilde with Matty in the 2nd half if he isn't getting the ball or is simply not providing. Matty can terrorise defences and is worth playing if Adam isn't having a good day.
I liked the back four line up, but tend to agree that Billy Beal isn'yt any better than Wenners. I would have thought he was to be our play maker, as Ian Cambridge was, but he isn't. Richard Skelly is a great player and was impressive.
