Salisbury were a poor desperate team and we let them off the hook big style. Not many chances created in a game ruined by a gale force wind and two twits running the line. We had the best chances, Wilde could have had a hattrick. the one he scored was opportunist , but we let them off the hook straight away, when they scored with one of only two chances they had. The other would have given them a totally undeserved win in the 90th minute, Nurse produced a top draw save. I`m afraid the two up front, Leon and Roy were ineffective today and I`m concerned about the midfield, it lacks invention. putting Fox in midfield is a fair move as I think he could be converted to a midfielder. Skelly is a better defender in the left back spot. I`m not so sure about Wenlock playing at full back though. In my opinion the defence has looked shaky without Jack Wignall BRING HIM BACK. We must do better, Tiverton and Newport Co coming up,we have to play better to get anything out of those games.
Six wins at least , needed to think about safety
We should have won today! | |
