City must not make the same mistake as United. They must live within their means. It is all very well talking about 6000 capacity stadiums but League Rules were introduced not just in the interests of safety but also to prevent clubs from over stretching themselves and going out of existance. A club that can support large attendances is much less likely to go out of existance than a club with low attendances. What United were planning was crazy with multi- million pound ground improvements at a time when they did not have two pennies to rub together. They deserve everything they get. City's own dreams of grandeur should also be shelved until a suitable alternative site becomes available, afterall we seemed to have missed our opportunity to get into one of the Conference feeder leagues. How our Directors could even consider an alliance with United at this time is beyond me. United deserve their fate for christ sake don't make the same mistake.
