Chris, there is no comparison between the City Ground and the Abbey, and I'm sure you know it in your heart of hearts.
Stand on the (covered, crush-barriered, 3000-capacity) Habbin terrace and look across at the well-maintained main stand with its hundreds and hundreds of seats.
Then walk all the way round Milton Rd., taking in the rust, the potholes, the corrugated fences, the lack of terracing, the lovely grass bank visible in the corner.
I'm not having a dig, but your comments sum up the bilious City attitude to United. The days of serious rivalry have gone. It is time to make a move that benefits both clubs. | |
